These terms govern your use of Toshokan, a scripture-study application. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old to use Toshokan.

Your content

You keep ownership of the studies, series, and other content you create. By publishing content publicly you grant Toshokan a non-exclusive license to display and distribute it within the app so other users can read, bookmark, and discuss it. You can unpublish or delete your content at any time.

Acceptable use

• Don’t post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or infringes someone else’s rights.
• Don’t attempt to disrupt the service, probe its security, or access other users’ data.
• Don’t use the app to send spam or impersonate others.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Bible texts and licensing

Scripture texts available in Toshokan are provided under their respective licenses. Versions offered for download are limited to those whose licensing permits it; downloaded texts are for your personal, non-commercial study use.

Termination

You may stop using Toshokan and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimers

Toshokan is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
